Reverend Marissa R. Farrow is a native of Baltimore. Maryland was born on June 19, 1989, to Bishop Robert E. Farrow and Evangelist Jacqueline Farrow, Pastors of Mount Calvary Church and Ministries, where she was launched into Ministry. 
On March 4th, 2007, Marissa began her public Ministry, preaching her initial sermon, “The Unshakable Call.” 
 
After a few years of trying to “Find the right pace, " she began her academic journey and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Livingstone College in Salisbury, North Carolina, and a Master of Divinity degree from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University. She is also a proud spring 2015 initiate of Alpha Kappa, Alpha. Sorority Incorporated, 
 
Since her ordination in 2013, Elder Farrow has worked as a preaching assistant, special outreach project coordinator, and social media director at the Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral of New York under the tutelage of the Reverend Doctors Floyd and Elaine Flake. 
 
Having been blessed by God with exponential doors of opportunity, she considers herself blessed to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. All across the world, much of it before age 30, bringing her to share for events such as the International Pastors and Leaders Conference in Christ incorporated. Guest speaker at the final three. Women, thou art loosed conference for Bishop TD Jakes, and one of the youngest morning preachers For the distinguish 110th Hampton University ministers conference. 
 
She has also been blessed to carry the gospel across the nations, including Nigeria, Lagos, West Africa, Dubai, London, England, and multiple appearances on the Word Network. She is the author of three books: “Delivering from Dysfunction: a Seven-step Guide to a Better You” and “The Amazing Weight” and, most recently, “The Morning Cup,” a 21-day prayer devotional inspired by her growing #viralprayercommunity, reaching over 1.1 million views monthly. She's also the owner of Brown by Marissa, a Christ Culture fashion brand. 
 
She is a Praiser, Prayer Warrior, Preacher, Podcast Host, Producer, and the proud BFF of her “God Gift,” Shamol-Ali. And she is just getting started.
